I cut away a lot of the plastic from the mold so that it resembles RB's newer shell-style. If you're interested, here is what their new shell looks like: http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/8583/collarwalkableline1bu1.jpg Then I v-cut the cuff: http://www.skatesetup.com/comments.php?id=317 I don't really know how they skate because I gave them to a friend for his birthday right after I was done, but I know they're not [i]too[/i] floppy or anything.

...RB really needs to start putting those skins on their skates again. Anyway, I'm glad you guys can appreciate. Looking back, I think it would've been more professional/sturdy if I used metal eyelets for the lace-work on the strap, but I'm still happy with how they turned out. I just hope my boy likes them. I'm in the process of doing another pair as back-ups for myself, except with Xsjado base/soulplates. I'll post those when I'm done. Stay tuned.
