Um, Dabby, you *DO* realize that these are custom *2012 Varsity* in the pic (they are the red and black pair to the left), right? Have you skated them? If not, then your opinion about them being "shitty" is worthless. They've served me well this past year. My pair of Varsities came out last year, so not sure what you mean by "out dated beyond themselves." Also, I've ridden the classic K2s in the 1990s (Fatty Pro, and Style Points), and my current Varsities are just as good (if not better, because I can finally do Torques).

How hard/easy was it to mod the carbon souls to the Varsity boot? What size carbon souls would I need for a size 9 boot? Trying to plan ahead for the future for when I eventually have to replace the Varsity soul plates. Thanks!
