Hey, Yeah I dyed the frames, didn't turn out as well as I wanted but first attempt at dyeing inline stuff... plus couldn't get the colour I really wanted to do it with... (Was going to go with a Red) They do look pretty "Spaceship"

They Aren't prototypes. they definitely released these skates. Trying to find any information on the net which is in English is virtually impossible. Did some digging anf found an old page...... Below from the site; The CI-5 is the last of the brand new skates the Rollerblade has produced. It features removable cuff/shell, toe box bumper protection, backslide groove, replaceable metal buckle and locking receiver, integrated powerstrap, molded polyurethane, sculpted "flex" buckle protector, molded eyelet and lace protection, alley-oop double wing heel. The super thick memory foam, shock absorbing insole, leather cuff and tongue lining, pyramid material for better shell to liner adhesion, speed lace liner system makes for a very comfortable fit. The frame features super low profile, DC sandwich eccentric spacers, molded axle protection, interchangeable center block, pre-grooved frame, integrated tri-piston shell interlock system, molded fins. The wheels that come with the CI-5 are 58mm, urethane cast core, RB engineered wide street profile wheels. The bearings are Killer Bees® ABEC-5 with DC sandwich eccentric spacers and aluminum bearing spacers. The CI-5 is a street skate and like the Dirk and Daytona it is an expensive skate. It is the color mirage (tan) and is worth the money. http://www.angelfire.com/mi/disasterroyle/ci5.htm...
